Where is Whistler?
Whistler is located 120km north of Vancouver in the Coast Mountain Range. The drive is around 2.5 hours from the airport along the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway.
Where is the best place to park in The Village?
There are a number of parking options in Whistler Village with paid parking options in the day lots (1-5 in the Village, 6-8 on Blackcomb Mountain), along with underground parking in Creekside.
However, there is no need to drive in Whistler with great public transport options, including a free shuttle, in addition to the fully pedestrianised Village stroll.
What is the best neighbourhood?
There are so many neighbourhoods to choose from in Whistler, each with their own charm and attractions. Whatever you value, whether it’s mountain proximity, home-type, or character, there is something for everyone.

What is the weather like?
Whistler enjoys a temperate climate with definitive seasons. January and February are the coldest winter months, with temperatures -2ºC/28F to -8ºC/18F on average. The mountains receive an average annual snowfall of 11.9 metres (39.1 feet).
In summer you can expect temperatures on average to range from 21ºC/70F to 27ºC/80F, with August being the hottest month.

What is the snow like?
As mentioned, Whistler receives a large and consistent amount of snowfall every year. To check current on-mountain conditions and overnight snowfall you can visit the Whistler Blackcomb website or check out their app.
What is there to do in summer?
It is often surprising to the winter crowd that summer actually sees more visitors than winter. There are tons of activities to choose, including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and relaxing by the lakes.
